Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was amazing — fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommend!

Amira, our host was great. The accomodation was perfect and the breakfast was something else. We felt welcome and we were given a ton of recommandations. The swimming pool was the cherry on cake.

Isabelle is an amazing host and made us feel welcome all the time! The room is big, it has a nice balcony and everything has been renovated recently. Cleaning standards were way higher than everywhere else in Tunisia. Breakfast was very good, specially the sweet treats, with freshly baked brioche or cakes each morning. Location is good if you have a car. You can walk to the nearest beach, however it's nicer to drive 5/10 min to a beach without all the all inclusive resorts activity.
