Even when it rains heavily, you can sit outside on the 1st floor balcony. Highly recommended!! (as is the 4x4 too :) )

Nice patio area to sit out. The house was solid with a nice layout. The kitchen was great to work in and had a large fridge - nice! Laundry area with modern washing machine - sweet! Ceiling fans in living room and bedrooms. (A/C would be a treat in the bedrooms - but I was aware there weren’t any). Very clean. Our stay was very relaxing. Our host made it easy for us to access the house. He did not live at the property. We communicated by WhatsApp & phone. He was always quick to respond and made sure everything was good! We were away from the hustle and bustle in a residential area which had an awesome local restaurant and bar in the neighborhood. It was hard to leave to explore the city.

Restaurant walking distance great trout up the road. Loved sitting in and outside watching the hummingbirds in the bottle brushes outside. Attempted to see the elusive quetzel. Alas only saw a flash of bright green in the park as he flew away.
