This is a very large property - bigger than we expected. It was very clean, well looked after, cool and comfortable. Yaya, the owner, greeted us. He was a lovely guy. We only stayed one night but we actually discussed that we should have stayed longer. The town is significantly less touristy than Luxor and Aswan and in the evening we went about our way almost ignored. This apartment and this town are a good place to rest up and take a break. We really liked this apartment and Yaya made us feel welcome. I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat.

Eslam was very hospitable. He offered to organise anything without being pushy. We took advantage of his personal river tour and were put on his boat for 4 -hours. Aswan is beautiful. A complete juxtaposition of Cairo's chaos. The river here, near the dam is pristine and clean.. We swam at a golden sand beach reminiscent of a Mediterranean beach.

Fahd helped us take all our luggage to apartment. He also served us the hot breakfast. Breakfast: highly recommended. Prepared by Fahd’s mother. Home made Amazing oriental breakfast in earthen pots. House: 4 big rooms with lots of beds. All beautifully designed. 2 bathrooms helped us get ready quickly in the morning.

I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.

They were incredibly helpful, even assisting us in booking a transfer from Aswan Airport to the villa, which made our journey seamless. The villa itself is stunning—peaceful, beautifully designed, and offering breathtaking views that feel like something out of a fairytale. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. We highly recommend Villa Misk to anyone visiting the area. A truly unforgettable stay with such kind and hospitable hosts!
