We originally booked this one bedroom apartment, but when we met the host Luis there, he offered us to stay in a two bedroom apartment with more space for our bicycles and a bigger swimming pool, without any extra cost! Both places looked really nice, and had similar amazing views of the mountains. The apartment we stayed in, Dreams Alpajurra, was really spacious, had a cozy living room and a well-equipped kitchen, great shower and comfy beds. The terraces and swimming pool had an amazing view of the surrounding mountainous landscape. Luis is a really friendly and helpful host as well. Albeit not necessary for us at the time, he even offered to drive us to the next town to help us get groceries instead of us having to cycle there again.

I was looking for a location where we could leave the rented car and just walk. I found it here and much more besides. This is such a unique, tranquil place, set in the hills and overlooking the town of Lanjaron. There were trails everywhere so this was perfect for us. The views are amazing and the facilities include 2 swimming pools, 1 with natural water. Given the recent temperatures we used the natural pool a lot. The town is accessible on foot and only a 5-10 minute walk down hill and maybe 15 on the way back up a very steep hill. There are enough restaurants and a decent grocery store where we got all we needed. Lina, the host, was very friendly and helpful with hiking suggestions. She also provided us with tomatoes, avocado and fruit all grown on the property. I would love to return again and have no hesitation recommending to others.
