I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

Breathtaking views, close enough to trails and popular sights but felt secluded. Even our teen daughter enjoyed the space. Well equipped, we lacked for nothing. Owners and their pups were lovely.

18 minutters gang fra St Andrews East Sands Beach og 1,5 km fra University of St Andrews ligger Auld Tom's Rest. Her er en have og gratis wi-fi. Had a fantastic stay at Auld Tom's May 13th-19th. The house was great and and spotless inside. Lovely warm feel to it and decorated to a high standard. Location was excellent and only a few minutes into St Andrews Town by car, but within easy walking distance. As well as the bus stop right outside the property. Ticked my bucket list playing golf at St Andrews and lots to do for the family as well. Garry met us upon arrival and couldn't ask for a better host. Kept in contact during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Not a bad word to say about our stay and booking again for next year. Thank you Garry!!!

This was a great location to explore the area. Accommodations were lovely and comfortable and the views were stunning! Keith was great and communications from Rachel were friendly and warm and welcoming.
