From the moment I stepped inside the hostel I felt welcomed and like home. Ibrahim who is one of the managers was very friendly and treated me and the other guests with utmost respect and warmth. The hostel has a very beautiful rooftop where you can watch the sunset/sunrise and/or just hang out. I did a tour around Siwa with the help of Ibrahim who organised a driver for me. His name is Moazzam, he is very professional at what he is doing and was always making sure I am fine. I also got to sleep a night in the desert thanks to them! It was a really beautiful and unforgettable experience. Location of the hostel could not be better, it is near to everything and so calm and peaceful inside. If you are a person who values authentic experiences and like to be surrounded by history, friendly people and peaceful environment, choose this place!

A beautiful oasis created by owner Ahmed and his wife Haggar - the place is peaceful with tranquil garden to enjoy. Ahmed is incredibly kind and hospitable host who cares about his guests and includes everyone to feel like a family. There are so many interesting conversations you could have with Ahmed on a variety of topics - we were privileged to learn so much about Egypt and its people. The rooms are spacious and unique, bed linen along with woolen blankets and towels were super clean and fresh, complimentary tea and coffee station in the garden was always available, included breakfast served in the garden was lovely. Ahmed is a very easy going person who is happy to offer you any advice about the local surroundings and makes sure you are happy and well taken care of. Coincidently, on our departure day, the owner also happened to be going via the same route, and he was incredibly kind to take us along. We enjoyed several hours of riding together with so many interesting conversations, and again it was a pleasure and privilege to spend time with such a pleasant and intelligent person like Ahmed! We will fondly remember our stay in Sleep in Siwa!

A breathtaking view full of palm trees and huge garden surrounding your room along with the beautiful sun rays, with all the privacy that you could ask for, it really feels like home! Your breakfast will always be organic and tasty, since most of the ingredients are harvested from their own farm! Bianca, the hostess, is a very friendly, warm-hearted, and cheerful person, she will recommend you what you should do in siwa and definitely will help you to reach someone to tour-guide you to wherever you want. Good location as well, around 7 mins from downtown.

The bed was great! The room was comfortable and had all I needed while still being a charming Siwa house. The room stayed cool even when it was too hot outside. The host is amazing! I almost fell in love with him…but it was too short a visit, sigh. Captain Nayer helped organize several trips with a reliable and affordable tuktuk driver who was wonderful. Breakfasts were great and had many healthy choices served family style. The WiFi was adequate for my needs. If I come back to Siwa in the future, I will stay here. Siwa is an amazing place and so relaxing. It is worth a visit

This was my favorite accommodation during my trip to Egypt! The room exceeded my expectations, with thoughtful decor details that made it feel cozy. It was brighter and much cleaner than the photos on the booking website, with no mosquitoes or flies at all. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep—I didn’t want to leave and wished I could have stayed longer. The location is perfect, right next to Shali Old Town, making it very convenient to explore. The host was incredibly hospitable, and all the recommended tours were fantastic and reasonably priced. The one-day tour of the Old Town and Salt Lakes, as well as the desert safari, were amazing experiences. Plus, there’s an adorable cat named Lotus, who is friendly and talkative, adding even more joy to the trip. If I ever visit Siwa again, I would definitely stay at Lotus again!

Friendo's House & Hot Spring is gelegen in Siwa en heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin en een terras. Friendo was a very good guy who helped us throughout our stay in Siwa. He took us to all the places around Siwa and he made our stay feel like home! Also, he cooks the best bread and beans in entire Egypt 😉 He has a great travel companion who accompanies us all through the trip. Get Nefertiti some treats when you visit the property, she's such a cutie!! ❤️
