I stayed overnight here as a pilgrim on my camino, I was very tired. The owner wasn't here when I arrived so I called her on my mobile and she came to open the door for me in under 5 minutes. She was a very warm, friendly and helpful woman with a big smile which I really needed at the time as I had been walking for a few days without really seeing many people. Coffee pods, bottled water and some sweets in the room. The balcony was a nice touch. Even though the room is beside the main road it wasn't a problem to sleep. Bathroom is nicely decorated, beautiful tiles. It is a little small but it was fine for me, i didnt feel like i needed more space.

Pepe the host is extremely attentive and helpful and cooked us a delicious meal alongside local wine, would highly recommend this option if he offers to prepare food for you.

This is an antique converted rectory that offers spacious and comfortable accommodations. The host is incredibly kind and helpful and keeps the kitchen and living room open for you with supplies of drinks and fruit - it is very charming. The village is very quiet, there's no cafe or supermarket here. In fact the roads are quite narrow through town so be prepared for an exciting time navigating. We found Google maps to be inaccurate, the best approach is to take the road through the fields to the high ground to the east. Navigate for the church. We recommend visiting the hot springs in Ourense and the Roman hilltop fort and museum, Centro de Interpretacion da Cultural Castrexa. Highly recommended!

The owner Paco is a wonderful man and he's super attentive to the needs of the hosts. The rooms are beautiful and it feels like a 4 star retreat in the middle of nowhere. The view from the balcony is amazing. Best place I've ever stayed at on the Camino Trail.
