The breakfast was very tasty and the highlight was being served a variety of jams made from their own garden. The beds were super comfortable, the room was quiet and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for us on our way home to the UK, not far from the motorway but in a quiet setting. The town is a short drive away and there are a couple of restaurants by the river.

We booked the room with the attached suite and the other room with a toilet/shower outside the room might make some uncomfortable. If you’re travelling in group needing 2 rooms this probably isn’t an issue. You won’t find a more comfortable/quiet stay if that’s what you’re looking for….
