Everything was great except that the property is located on a hill, so you have to climb to reach nearby places. The road was very slippery on snowy days, and we almost slipped several times. I would not recommend this place for travelers with elderly people or young children.

The manga library was so big!!! They have almost all of One Piece and some Ghibli stuff as well. The hosts were so gracious and made it feel like home for the night. The food was amazing and more than enough to give me energy for a long hike. ALSO they sell really cool t shirts, I definitely recommend buying one!!

Particularly as a cyclist, it is ideal because of Tim's cycling background and experience. If you want to ride the famous Nakasendo cycling route, there is no better place to start as it is literally outside his door. And, they rent out superb bikes for the journey either guided by a professional guide or self guided.

We had the pleasure of staying at this property, and it was a fantastic experience. We had access to the entire house, and all the facilities were included, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The host was amazing—extremely friendly and always available to answer any questions or offer assistance..The host responded promptly to our messages, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommend both breakfast and dinner (best decision)!
