The morning begins with a peaceful bike ride to the boat dock, during which Human shares insights about the local community, culture, and native plants. Once on the water, I enjoyed a private tour of the floating market, a delicious breakfast on the boat, a walk through the vibrant wet market, a visit to a noodle factory and a stop for coffee. Back at the farmstay, I loved the home-cooked meals prepared by Human and his mother (available for a fee), as well as the freedom to explore the surrounding area by bike at my own pace. Most of all, I appreciated the meaningful conversations with Human. He is warm, thoughtful, and deeply knowledgeable about the region. The room and bathroom are rustic and simple, but clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. There’s no AC as stated in the listing, but I found the fans more than sufficient. I highly recommend Mekong Farmstay to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful, and welcoming experience in the Mekong Delta.

We had a spectacular view. Also the activity floating market was top! Resto simple but good, gotta try the fish! One of the more spacious rooms we had on our three week trip.

Man, the young host, was super thoughtful and paid attention to everything we needed.
