This was my 2nd stay at the hostel after returning from an Antartica cruise. I like the hostel as it is quiet & away from the main area (about a 1km walk). It has a real homey feel, think ski lodge & that's what it is like. The beds have privacy curtains, the rooms are quite big, the staff are super friendly & the breakfast is great too.

Situated in Ushuaia, 2.5 km from Encerrada Bay, House 1903 features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge.

The hostel has great energy and very positive vibes...Marcos the manager is also a chef and made my stay so awesome.He cooked us apple pie with ice creams and wine, and some fantastic Gnocci 😊...it's a very basic hostel , good value for what you pay...but it definitely has a wonderful heart ❤️ met some very nice travellers and had a great time in Ushuaia ❤️ Thank you Cruz del Sur

I don't even know where to begin. It was just great. The staff where lovely both full time workers and the Volunteers. Ileana and her husband were amazing at making us feel welcome and organised trips to do and gave great recommendations. The place was always lovely and clean. It was all properly maintained. Breakfast was delicious, we got provided eggs and bread and then got a pick of cereal and hot drinks. We had a private room which had underfloor heating to keep us cosy and warm, the bed was just as cosy. We did a few hikes and were provided walking poles for free. The vibe was just great and all the guests share places to go and recommendations. There's also an ice cream shop next door.

Super friendly staff that helps a lot with planning all the activities around Ushuaia and is always there for a nice chat. Nice place to meet other travelers and share experiences. There is a big community area where you can gather after a great day of hiking. Beautiful view from the hostel over the city and the mountains. Nice location, just a short walk away from the center. The breakfast is good.
