Cheapest budget hostel in Hopkins which attracted a friendly group of travellers. Good location near the beach. Free coffee in the mornings. Kitchen to make your own meals. Bars and restaurants nearby.

Amazing location, in the center of Hopkins and close to the beach. Friendly welcome, with elaborate explanations about the place, the neighborhood and potential activities. 8 dorm room was well equipped with fans per bed (and 2 general ones) (no AC) and curtains. Sanitary block was clean (hot showers via solar heating) and definitely enough toilets and showers for the hostel's capacity.

The hostel was set up in a very cute way, with a nice central courtyard with many places to sit. There were enough showers and bathrooms so we never had to wait. We also really liked Roy (owner), and he took the time to carefully answer all our questions.

It was a pleasant place, great location, we had private rooms and sat in the common area to relax and eat. There were backpackers as well but they were friendly and respectful. All in alll great value!a

A real backpackers hostel. Very nice place near the beach with confortable bedrooms and dorms, a convenient kitchen and nice garden.

Cheapest (and only?) hostel in town

- clean and quiet private room with 2 fans which was easily enough - great shared bathrooms with solar heated hot water - good kitchen facilities - cheap drinking water (or you can use the tap water, which is safe) - close to supermarkets and the main bus stop out of Hopkins (be aware that busses only come a couple of times a day!)
