the staff and the owner were really friendly and helped us with arranging transport (scooters, fast boats, taxi). They were really social and gave us a lot of infos about everything we wanted to know. The home cooked food is very organic and local for a very good price. As an additional bonus, the room had hammocks, which added extra comfort. They got big plans for the future of the hostel and keep investing money and time to ensure the best possible experience. Can recommend 10/10

The people that work here are great and really kind especially Sam. Sam helped me with alot of things and went with my friends to a waterfall and had diner at his house. It was an amazing day!

Probably my favourite hostel so far in Indonesia, lovely staff, great facilities, nice vibe. Massage and sauna services excellent after long Rijhani hike.

The place is basic but clean and has everything you need - big rooms, good shower, air con, lots of plug sockets etc. It’s 2 minutes walk to the harbour so perfect for those needing a ferry. But the whole reason I’m leaving a review is because of Abdullah - he was so helpful and went above and beyond to look after me after a rough day travelling, getting me a ferry that wasn’t available online as well as lots of other things and being a generally lovely friendly guy. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I loved this hostel and I loved Gili Air. Kept extending, from 2 nights to 9 nights. The staff is so friendly and the room and facilities are great. In my opinion it looks better than on (the photos on) booking.com. I had an amazing stay and hopefully one day I will be back!
