The staffs are very responsive (assuming you are reaching out within their operating hours, which I believe closes at 9pm. I was shared the check-in details over email as I was arriving post mid-night when the staffs would not be in the hostel to receive guests. The hostel is located at a walking distance from the marvelous Hallgrimskirkja church and bus stop 8 and 9. The pantry is stocked with free tea and coffee and cooking oil, salt, sugar and a fridge. It's very organized, washrooms are all very clean.

Everything was awesome ! The share bathroom was clean and there are actually 2 bathrooms with shower and toolet and one extra toilet for 4 rooms, so its quite private:) kitchen was fully equiped and we even have kettle, a Lot of teas, coffee maker and coffee and milk in our room.. room was quiet - when someone was showering across our room even at 1am we heard nothing :) room was with good temperature and position of this appartment was just great, we walked everywhere because it was so close to anything :) and we can storage our bags there after check out and thats was really helpfull:) thank you!

You are central to EVERYTHING. The rainbow road and Hallgrímskirkja are RIGHT THERE. The staff are exceptional, hard workers, always able to help with queries or help when the code to the hallway door malfunctions. The housekeeping especially were always so lovely and made the bathroom look gorgeous each day. I truly commend the staff at Loft. They were phenomenal. The hostel has many bins for recycling and plastics and compost and I loved this. The setup for labelling your items in the fridge is outstanding. Room 301 was quite spacious and even had a private bathroom, which I wasn't expecting. (It has 8 beds but there was only ever 6 of us in there. They just have a couple extra beds for emergency situations.) The bed, pillow, and quilt were great! The beds are quite long. I am 185cm tall and I wasn't even hanging off the end of the mattress!!

Basic room, as expected, was very clean and beds were comfy especially for being bunk beds. Great location with a bus stop right outside for city bus & tours. Baggage storage was extremely helpful before being able to check in! Good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!
