If I had only tried a few hostels, you might think this is just another average review but I’ve been traveling the world for years and stayed in hundreds of hostels and this one, truly stands out. It’s not about being fancy or full of luxury. The facilities are simple, clean, and practical. Exactly what you’d expect for the price. But what makes this place extraordinary is the hospitality, warmth, and genuine care that the team puts into everything they do. Even the small moments show it. One evening at dinner, my plate came with mashed potatoes (which I don’t like). I asked for an empty plate just to separate the food, and while I thought the request had been forgotten, a staff member came back minutes later with a fresh serving of hot rice made just for me! Completely unasked for. That’s the level of thoughtfulness they put into their guests. And then there’s the magic of their special dinners. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday they cook something unique… a different dish every time, prepared with love and served not because they have to, but because they want us to connect, share, and feel at home. They don’t even eat with us; it’s all about creating a space where travelers can gather and build friendships. It’s rare to find a hostel with this much heart and soul. Honestly, it feels less like a hostel and more like a family. The only downside? It’s becoming harder to find a bed because everyone wants to stay here! So if you see availability, don’t hesitate! The rooms were spacious and we had a really great time! Everyone was super helpful. They helped us with train tickets, laundry, scooter rentals, food recommendations, recommendations for attractions etc. We really miss the family dinners and wish we could come back super soon

A quite place to stay, the mountain view was beautiful and calming place. The breakfast is lovely varies everyday. The dinner was a highlight for me as you can meet many other travelers. Bed in the Rooms are beautifully prepared as if coming home from your own room. I love everything! Location wise as it's few minutes walk to the city center and if your lazy to walk a local boat is also accessible beside the property so cheap and 2 min to cross and tsadaah old town. I enjoyed the vibe and the fact it wasn't too much of a party hostel but more like a fusion between both. The staff were friendly and very direct with not only service but honest advice. The rooms were very decent compared to many places I have stayed before and cleaned well everyday. I recommend this place for anyone who wants a bit of fun or just wants to relax.

This was up there in one of my favourite hostels. Great stay after arriving on the slow boat from Thailand to luang prabang. Fantastic common area overlooking the beautiful Mekong River, and in great location, walking distance to the night market. Social atmosphere without being a party hostel, or a nice place to relax in peace, depending what you want. Comfortable clean rooms and bathroom, and staff can organize waterfall trips and assist with transport to your next location. Great breakfast in the morning, and really nice that coffee and tea is provided.

Favourite hostel so far in SE Asia. Clean rooms with good facilities. Nice outside bar and restaurant where u can get 3 meals a day. Good nightly events put on every night, which is great to socialise. Shout out to my boy Kola for keeping us entertained
