Was a very nice recently renovated hostel which had everything you could need! The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and really has a home from home feeling, really good location and has everything you need around you! 100% recommend!!

I had a great stay at Rafiki. Is quiet far from town but it was the best choice for me, to avoid touristic places. 10 mins walking from the hostel, you can fine the most beautiful and isolated beach. The hostel itself is was amazing. I was staying in a private room with private bathroom. Everything was clean and bed was comfy. Great to have a fan for hot days. Its similar to a bungalow so its normal to find geckos in room or flies. The staff was amazing and girls prepared a rich breakfast (included). Being far from town, you can call a driver or you can wait till 6/7 pm and go there with owner Rafiki (for free) and I think that is really a nice service to offer. Suggestion: for lunch, you can buy anything and put it in the fridge in kitchen

I’d say that greens is a great option if you want an accommodation in Nungwi that’s budget friendly. It’s close to the center and close enough to the beach. As a female solo traveler I’ve always felt safe in the neighborhood, even at night time. Do not hesitate to chose Green !
