FranceI have spent one of the best times of my life at Madame Isabelle's House, People are easy-going, always ready to give you tips about what to do, have a chat in the cosy backyard and mezzanine, the pub and dance crawls, Wednesday Jambalaya and the events that are regularly organised now and then. This was definitely a human Journey for me, I love this place, and...Kyle, Lorenzzo, Désirée, Reina, Emiliano, Sean, Benjamin are the best! Going to Madame Isabelle's House just feels like home. I will cherish my memories from New Orleans and will come back to this place when I come back to the Big Easy.

United KingdomA friendly, comfortable place to stay in NOLA. It'd be worth a trip back to New Orleans just to spend more time here as two nights just wasn't enough. Great conversations to be had with both staff and other travellers. The staff couldn't do enough to help and were always on hand to give recommendations of places to see in the area. Staying at India House is a definite highlight of our trip across the USA so far.

The reality was better than the pictures, cleanliness, privacy, location of the place, staff, breakfast, safety, everything was perfect.
I was in New York and there was a hostel with the same name. I stayed there for several days, but this hostel in New Orleans was the best in everything. How I wish New York had a place like this.

I like everything in this hostel. The kitchen is fully equipped, very clean and roomy. The bathrooms are always kept clean with many clean towels. There are a lot of seats/sofas in the lounge and dining room. I like everything in this hostel. It is the best hostel that I have been in USA so far. Thanks to the manager and all staff working in the hostel. You guys have done a great job.
