I came to Gaslamp Hostel for only 1 month. But I met beautiful people in such a beautiful environment that I loved staying with you for 2.5 months. You are offering a great accommodation to your guests in a fast , practical , clean and secure layout , producing solutions for every issue . Even if the employees change, everyone can easily become a part of the team. I saw a strong team that is fun and cares about the comfort of the guests. Everything is planned for the comfort of the guests in this hostel. I was very satisfied with my stay. Thank you, everbody thank you.

Ana's tacos on Taco Tuesday were amazing! Other than that, the hostel has a good location with really good value for the price, especially the included breakfast. Sam, Laney and Marcella were always super helpful whenever we needed anything :)

I liked the environment and vibes of the hostel very much. They have something free to drink or eat in most of days. I stayed in a few hostels but this one made a difference by giving me much more comforts. There is a nice person whose names is Coco. She helped me a lot with my requirements. I really liked the way she approaches people with a smile face. There are many rooms to get some rest, watch tv and play games with friends. The kitchen is big enough and has lots of kitchen stuff. I am sure you find whatever you need. The hostel is very clean and everything is fully organized. I would stay here if i visit San Diego again. So, i strongly recommend this hostel.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

It’s been the best hostel I have stayed, it was really clean, the bed is comfortable and you have your own privacy. The common areas were great and they had everything you need. I also liked how the organize the food in the kitchen.

Friendly people both staff and hostel dwellers. Bars a bit cheaper than LA with proper pints and free entry. Good competitive yet friendly welcoming pool playing at bars just up from the beach.. Winstons club had a truly great band playing with large group of banging musicians and multiple happening vocalists, great after a skin full of Hazy IPA, makes you dance on the wind, you just don't want it to stop...

The hostel was nicely decorated and pretty chill. Some days there are events where you can get free drinks a meet new people. The restrooms and showers were newly renovated and clean. This establishment is perfect for lone or budget travelers.
