Omar is an exceptional host. He is proof of the saying: come as a guest, leave as a friend. He facilitated our transfer from Luxor to Aswan, then the road to Abu Simbel. The location is wonderful, the island is quiet - after 6 days in Egypt we slept here without any noise waking us up :). Delicious breakfast, dinner can also be served, also very tasty - Omar is a great cook. He brought us on arrival and departure with his boat. My wife wanted some Egyptian cotton towels - 30 minutes later, Omar brought them to us. Thank you for everything, Omar!

The first thing I noticed with I stepped downstairs to get to our room was the amazing aroma that was in the air and in our rooms. Not to mention cleanliness of our room and beautiful location of the hotel. The staff was exceptional and friendly during our stay.

Both the bedroom and the common area had huge windows with incredible views. - The location is perfect…directly across the street from the public ferry to Elephantine Island, and walking distance to cafes, restaurants, ATMs, pharmacy, etc. Since the hostel is on a main road, it’s easier to set up pickups and dropoffs for InDrive rides (some of the other places in Aswan can be difficult for drivers to find) - The hostel is brand new, and everything feels very fresh and clean. The big common area is nicely set up for both relaxing and meeting other travelers, and also has a kitchen that’s available for guests to use. - The private double was really big and spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and crisp clean sheets. And of course, the gorgeous view of the Nile! Overall, such incredible value for the price!

Really great modern hostel accommodation, very thoughtfully set up with cozy common room, soft lighting and outlets by every bed. Thoroughly clean and well located near Carrefour and restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful, communicative and diligent in arranging things on my behalf. Great vibes, thank you Nia!

Luxury Hostel ligger i Riyadh, 8,1 km fra Saqr Aljazeera Aviation Museum. Her et fælles opholdsområde og en bar samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Der er desuden røgfrie værelser. This was by far the best hostel I ever stayed in. Both the owner/host and the staff are amazing individuals, going above and beyond providing the best hospitality to their guests. The hostel is next to a bus stop that gets you to Al Hamra metro station, which has two metro lines. The bus works regularly and is easily tracked on Google Maps. There is a big 24h open supermarket across the road which is as convenient as it can get. The street the hostel is on is always full of life. It is impossible not to feel safe here. People are all smiling and busy eating or shopping around, which makes the whole hostel feel homier. Water is now provided with a dispenser, which is really convenient. Tufail makes sure that the place is always tidy and clean, and he does an amazing job doing it. While each may have a different experience, in my 9 days here, I did not wait for anyone to use the toilet, it was always free when I needed it. Maybe I am lucky, or maybe as travellers with some flexibility it is ideal not to use the WC around early morning and after work hours, when it could be busier. The bed is so good it deserves specific praise. I slept as good as I did back home here, and that is a rarity. I think it is slightly larger than a normal bed as well, because I was comfortable moving around in it a bit. Mattress was the finest as well. There is one USB C and one USB A charging socket right by your bed, which was all I needed for my charging needs. I did not spend too much time in the hostel since I wanted to see Riyadh as much as possible but whenever I returned here, I was greeted by friendly hostel mates that never made any noticeable noise. The host installed some sort of sound proofing on doors so thanks to those you will have an excellent sleep regardless of whether someone makes a noise in the general room or not. The place is really clean, and most importantly, there are no bugs etc.

Nubian Hights guesthouse ligger i Ash Shallāl, 19 km fra Aga Khan Mausoleum og 4,3 km fra Det Nubiske Museum. Værelserne har aircondition og et privat badeværelse. It’s a beautiful place, build by a retired mother that worked as a teacher and now wants to leave a bussiness for her two dauthers. You can see the love on the place and wanting to do stuff as good as possible. They have little semiapartments with shared half kitchens (not stove but fridge, a sink, glasses and plates), the room I stayed had a balcony with beautiful views to the nile river, had airconditioning but also a fan, so you can chose. The shower has a heater, and though it has an interesting design just in the middle of the toilet, it works and is very good. The owner incredibly nice, very nice person to talk with. Her dauther is the only one doing Bird watching tours in Aswan (even being featured on the Lonely planet).
