Fantastic hassle free breakfast, a gorgeous pool space and so many places to relax/work. The fridges are always stocked with beverages to buy (extra cold) especially the Xeque Mate. Just an all round 10/10 hostel. Don't think twice, you won't be disappointed. :)

Overall clean and we even got an upgrade. Breakfast was great, and people visiting are very open to meet new people. Would recommend!

History Hostel ligger i Ouro Preto, 13 minutters gang fra Igreja de São Francisco de Paula kirke. Her en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Der er desuden røgfrie værelser. History Hostel is in a good area not too far from the center offering very comfortable accommodation. The hostel is simple, clean, and have modern facilities. I like how they put a lot of thought in designing the hostel to have all that a traveler needs for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well equipped and is available for use and they have small areas for chilling, meeting people, or doing a bit of work. They also have a small outdoor area for laundry, and have rfid keys for security. Everything is clean and organized. This is beyond what I normally see in many many hostels. The best part is that the hosts, and volunteers were very welcoming and friendly. They have plenty of recommendations for your stay in Ouro Preto. It is clear that Italo and his team work hard to make this space feel like home. Hudson, especially has very good taste in music :) History is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. I felt at home.
