Before coming to Rio, I was a bit worried about safety, but this hostel completely put my mind at ease. It has its own secure entrance, which made me feel very safe. The metro station is just a few minutes’ walk, making transportation super convenient. There are several supermarkets nearby, which is very handy, and the beach is only about a 20-minute walk away—perfect for a stroll or relaxing. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely choose this hostel again next time I visit Rio!

Located in Búzios, a 12-minute walk from Armação Beach, Bamboo Búzios Hostel has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. I love the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The boys Samuel and Lucas from the Huna restaurant made my stay even better. I had lunch there twice and I loved it. I'd also highlight the girls from breakfast service. Sayonara and the others were so kind, attentive and helpful.

I liked the vibes at the hostel, how the staff treated me, the breakfast and the view from my bedroom was terrific. I would definitely recommend this hostel. Matter of fact, I am planning to book it again when I come back to Rio.

A TV, sofas, etc.. very great to spend time by yourself or with people The rooms had bunkbeds and great storage underneath (a full sized luggage fit under). The showers are great, hot water good! There was always activities to do everyday and there was always a happy hour at the bar. The staff super friendly and the travelers very nice.

The swimming pool and the private mountain with the amazing view on Rio are the cherries on the top. I highly recommend it!
