Very friendly and helpful staff and clear instructions about what was wanted in the morning. The breakfast was great and it was spotless. Also close to night life and cafes. Wonderful place to stay.

Lehmann's Herberge Hostel ligt op een rustige maar toch centrale locatie in Grindelwald, op 350 meter van de Firstbahn- en Männlichenbahn-kabelbanen. The stay at the hostel was lovely. The view of the Eiger from the balcony of the room is breathtaking! And the rural landscape, with the clusters of houses climbing the hills at the foot of the Eiger, is beautiful! The Swiss breakfast is delicious, with fresh bread and produce from the garden. The place is super quiet and you can hear the birds singing at dusk and sunrise. A stay in Grindelwald at the friendly Lehmann's Herberge hostel is unforgettable!

Aktivhostel HängeMatt heeft een gedeelde lounge, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Matt. De accommodatie is voorzien van een gedeelde keuken en gratis WiFi. Everything. All the reviews about this accomodation are true. To provide a more unique piece of comment, when I arrived late, tired and outside of incheck hours, I found the bedsheets presented neatly inside-out. In case we are not familiair with how to make up a bed the easiest way, take the sheets inside-out and shake like crazy. I was tired and I was positively speechless (if I was talking). Never made a bed up so easily in my life, for real. On a more personal experience, Matt really gave me the “Swiss” feeling that other, more touristy places, failed me to provide. I felt comfortable and like at home in the area, but then in Switzerland. I will definitely come back here, to climb the mountain across Matt. I did not have the time for it sadly. Also, ja, Florian, cool dude. The reviews about the host does him right. (Also you get free public transport btw, in the Kanton)

Berghaus Diavolezza ligt in Berninahäuser, op 20 km van Golf Engadin St. Some staff very friendly and helpful, others more abrupt. Location is fabulous and room lovely. Dinner/breakfast good.

Schutzenbach Backpackers For Adults 18-34 years only bevindt zich in Lauterbrunnen, op 16 km van Grindelwald Terminal, en beschikt over een bar en uitzicht op de bergen het hostel ligt op 32 km van... I spend 3 nights in the Hostel and had amazings and completely different evenings each day, i got one bed in the shared room and it was full booked but everyone was respectful and tried their best to be quiet in the early morning and past midnight as well! The vibes are immaculate, all the staff is super kind and helpful. The hole idea of the hostel is to have a break, to share a good time and to know people while you are adventuring, exploring, learning. I think that’s why most of us left so happy and in peace at the same time. The beds are comfortable, they’ll provide a towel and a locker and there’re enough plugs for everyone. The kitchen has microwaves, water heater and two fridges to store your food and the supermarket is close, like a 10 min walk or two stops if you use the bus, which is right next to the reception. I’m so glad i choose this Hostel and hope i’ll come back
