They are generous, extremely hospitable and have the biggest hearts. The meals are the best we had in Colombia. The accompanying salads with our meals are bigger in portions than the salads we ordered at restaurants. Great location to hang out and relax for as long as we wanted. Quite possibly the best place we stayed and we have been travelling for the last two years.

Most importantly no place is complete without a great Host, Camilo definitely leaves no stone unturned, the experience wouldn’t be the same without the hospitality and great communication from Him, one thing is sure, you’re in good hands in Barichara.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The building is an old home that has been converted into rooms and has a nice feel. The kitchen is good and there js a refrigerator that you can use. The location is good, Lulu the dog is very cute, and I would happily stay here again. There are activities for those who want to join in (football, tejo, salsa, etc.) in collaboration with other hostels if you want to meet people but stay at a more relaxed environment. The breakfast is good and the restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner.

Macondo Hostel ligger i San Gil og har en have, fælles opholdsområde og grillfaciliteter samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Extremely kind and helpful personnel, who speak perfect English and helped arrange tours, games, etc. They made the stay amazing.

Tinto Hostel ligger i Barichara og har en have og en terrasse. Vandrehjemmet har udendørs swimmingpool og et fælles køkken samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Awesome place! Really exceeded my expectations. I stayed 10 days and really didn’t want to leave. Amazing views, comfortable environment, very peaceful, excellent kitchen, beautiful cats, and mango trees.. so sometimes mangos for breakfast :)

Eco Hostel Oro de Gaque ligger i San Gil og har fælles opholdsstue, have, terrasse og gratis wi-fi. Amazing place to stay away, guests were very nice and friendly.

Hostel Trip Monkey Barichara ligger i Barichara og har et fælles opholdsområde. Overnatningsstedet har døgnåben reception, lufthavnstransport og et fælles køkken samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Stayed in the Trip Hostel in San Gil, and like that one, was very happy with my stay. Small hostel compared to the one in San Gil. Some services like breakfast are the same, but this one lacks a pool and bar. The kitchen, however, is open to guests unlike in San Gil. The room was much bigger and offered storage space for my clothes etc. Very clean. Wifi was fast and generally reliable. It would drop for a few seconds on occasion, but very likely a problem with the service provider being in a small and rather remote town, rather than the hostel. Run by a very nice and helpful family on behalf of the owner.

Zamia Hostel ligger i Bucaramanga og har en have, fælles opholdsområde og terrasse samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Nice people. The new cleaning lady was really sweet, and very helpful with me in the kitchen. Lots of different common spaces, including a roof terrace, and a ping pong table. Comfortable bunkbeds and lots of locker space. Each bunkbed had it's own electrical outlet, fan, reading light, and little shelf, which was really nice. Felt like a very safe neighborhood.
