Amazing pleca in the heart of Cesky Krumlov, I was so surprised with the location of the hostel. It is next to the river and there are many restaurants and shop on walking distance. I really appreciated to have the parking spot next to the hostel and I had a very nice calm night and was able to rest. I didn't manage to meet the host as I arrived a bit late but she was very kind to write detailed instructions of how to get the keys and get inside the room. I found fresh lining and towel in my bed which was very nice.

Hostel Favorit ligt in Týn nad Vltavou, op 22 km van Kasteel Hluboká en 32 km van Black Tower. Wonderful one-night stay. They seem to spread out guests, so it felt really private. The kitchen is pretty bare, but there is a hot plate and microwave. The staff did not speak English, but it was no problem at all. Beds were comfortable. Loved the big windows. Several grocery stores nearby.

The staff is super nice and friendly. There's a bar/restaurant just downstairs which is convenient and its also with good price. There are plenty of toilets and shower rooms. The rooms are old and stylish, it's a good experience.

Top-notch staff and the whole place surprised me in a great way. They so-called kitchenette is a proper kitchen with an oven and microwave, with a lovely balcony you can chill at (there is another one on the opposite side of it behind the elevator). On the other hand, I was in a private room with a shared bathroom, but you only shared the bathroom with another room, so that is pretty good as well.

On our way back from Vienna to Germany, we randomly picked a location to stop for the night, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. We arrived quite late, well past the check-in time, and were initially worried about whether we'd be able to check in. To our relief, the host waited for us and gave us a warm, welcoming reception. His kindness and hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. As for the location, it left us speechless. The night sky was absolutely stunning, filled with stars, and the entire area was incredibly peaceful. Waking up to the breathtaking sunrise in the morning was an unforgettable experience. The location also offers numerous activities for visitors, including scenic cycling routes. And then there was the lake— it had the feel of a beach getaway. The room we stayed in was spotless, providing a cozy atmosphere for a restful night. Though the bathrooms were shared, they were well-maintained, and hot water was readily available for bathing. Breakfast was available on request, which was a nice touch to start the day. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we couldn't have been more satisfied.
