La Mirada del Solitario George ligger i Puerto Ayora, blot 4 minutters kørsel fra Charles Darwin Station og ved siden af Cazares School. Incredibly friendly family owned hostal! Our room was big and cozy, with great air conditioning and a hot shower. The couple who run the hostel were so kind and gave us heaps of information to help make the most of our time on the island. The hostal is a 15 minute walk from town, but we didn’t mind this as it meant for quiet nights. Would definitely recommend, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Filtered drinking water available too!

The kitchen is also very well equipped and is kept clean. Plenty of storage (even with lockers!) for the food. It's also conveniently located next to a fresh market. Room is huge and comes a closet with its own locker as well.
