This hotel is a real gem! Comfortable, affordable accommodation conveniently located opposite El Ejido Park and within walking distance of the Historic Centre. The room and ensuite bathroom were spacious, clean and well appointed. The Staff were super friendly and helpful. Eddie, at reception, is worth his weight in gold! His English is very good and he went out of his way to be helpful in any way he could. If we ever return to Quito I would definitely book here again!

I had the pleasure of staying at The Hostal Cloud Forest for one night, and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for my stay. Their service truly stood out and made me feel right at home. The setting was great, it offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The accommodations were comfortable, and while the nights can get quite chilly due to the lack of heating, the hostel provides exceptionally warm blankets. Once I was under the covers, I was perfectly cozy and had a great night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a unique and immersive stay on the Quilotoa hiking loop with warm hospitality, The Hostal Cloud Forest is a fantastic choice. I would definitely recommend it to nature lovers and adventurers alike!

There’s something special about the energy of this place — you feel it the moment you arrive. The breakfast was the best we had in Ecuador — everything is prepared with great care and attention to detail. You can really feel the love put into every part of the experience. The owners, were kind and helpful. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely miss it. We recommend this place to everyone, and if we ever return to Quito, we will certainly stay here again!

Beds have 4 fleecy blankets on. We had a shared bathroom and you only shared with one other room. Absolutely spotlessly clean! The bathroom was cleaned before we even got up. We had washing done, which was done in just a few hours and smelt great. Breakfast was really good value. Definitely recommend paying a small price for this. The location was good, bars and restaurants close by. Easy to get into the old town. Bus terminal a little but far but very easy to get a bus too. Hotel itself very safe and secure with a gate and locked door which is manned 24/7. Staff very friendly and helpful.
