Just 10 minutes’ walk from central Manchester, the YHA hostel boasts a café bar, regular film nights in its cinema room, a canal side restaurant. It was very well located. I liked the staff and also the room was simple but super comfortable. They also kept our bags when we add a few hours to spare after the checkout which was super helpful!

Located in the heart of Manchester's lively Northern Quarter and offering free WiFi in all rooms and communal areas. Friendly and accommodating staff, 4 bed female dorm was spacious, good bed structure (not just metal frames that our loud and clumsy) and very clean shower and bathroom.

The host was the best: super kind and willing to help with anything. The pool was great for a chill time after spending the day walking around Manchester. His dogs are the sweetest and the vibes were perfect. I enjoyed some cool chats with other guests too. Also, the house is 10 min away from Heaton Park by car, and around 20 from Manchester city centre. There are bus stops, trains and supermarkets after a 5 min walk. I'd definitely do it again.
