It's such a wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed my time at Helmsdale Lodge Hostel very much. The accommodation is spotless clean and well-maintained. It has a welcoming atmosphere, and Maria is a very kind host. Feels more like visiting an old friend rather than organised accommodation. I would book again without a moment of hesitation when in the area.

Amazing location. Super warm and comfy pods enabled. Appreciated the clear and regular communication from host.

Whitewave ligt in Monkstadt. Je kunt genieten van het uitzicht op de bergen. Alle kamers bij het hostel hebben beddengoed en handdoeken. Vliegveld Luchthaven Benbecula ligt op 84 km afstand. We liked the view from our room and we liked the kitchen a lot! It was clean and easy to whip up some meals. It saved us a lot of money instead of eating out (and actually not sure where to eat out really...).

It was very cozy and staff was friendly, I slept amazing in the pod, they give you a towel and there were products in the bathroom to use

Hartfield House Hostel biedt huisdiervriendelijke accommodatie in Applecross. Er is gratis privéparkeergelegenheid bij de accommodatie. This is the third year in a row we’ve stayed here, and we’ll be back again. The location is stunning! We’re into our road cycling and there aren’t many better places to base your road cycling out of than here. I particularly like cycling along the coast to Shieldaig and then back over the notorious Bealach na Bah! The cooking facilities here are as good as anywhere I’ve been, plenty fridge space (and even a freezer), and there’s a dishwasher which makes it a lot easier to tidy up after breakfast and dinner. There are decent dining options nearby in the Walled Garden and the Applecross Inn, as well as an ice cream van. There are laundry facilities here too which come in very handy when you’re having an ‘active’ break. On our holiday my partner sprained her ankle and the staff were so supportive and helped out whilst I was away for the day, helping her move a chair outside to sit on. The staff do an amazing job at keeping the facilities super clean which I think is really important to guests.

Het Glen Nevis Youth Hostel ligt al jarenlang aan de voet van de Ben Nevis, op slechts 4,8 km van de grote stad Fort William. Amazing hostel, very clean and neat, modern and quite silent. Slept well and the staff was super friendly.

Just a few minutes’ walk from Fort Augustus on the edge of Loch Ness, this award-winning lodge offers four-star hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Hoe hulpvaardig kan iemand zijn, perfect! Ikzelf liep een ultra marathon rond Loch Ness en ging normaal gezien niet blijven slapen hier, enkel mijn vriendin en schoonbroer. Toen ik vroeg alsnog te kunnen blijven, was dat geen probleem. Ijs voor een gezwollen voet werd direct in orde gemaakt. Gastvrijheid, tip top. Kunnen ze in België nog iets voor leren.

Het Aviemore Youth Hostel wordt omgeven door bossen en ligt aan de grens van het Nationaal Park Cairngorms en op korte loopafstand van het centrum van Aviemore. Just the best hostel. The staff are incredible and so generous with their time and helpful. Arrived in a storm and they helped me plan out a lower altitude run - you are fantastic! Beds are insanely comfy and great facilities. Everything is spotless.

Het Inverness Youth Hostel ligt op slechts 10 minuten wandelen van het treinstation van Inverness en beschikt over gratis privéparkeren en een fietsenstalling Het hostel bevindt zich op 10 minuten... I just stayed for a night, but it was a great experience. The rooms are nice and clean, the beds are comfortable. Also, in general, it's clean and tidy everywhere in the hostel, which is really nice. There are some common areas too, and a nice kitchen. Pretty much everything you can wish for in a hostel. I definitely recommend it for your stay :)
