Made a lot of new friends.

Great and quiet location very close to the main square in Pitsidia and easy enough walk to the beach. Sofia is very helpful and the common kitchen and laundry room were wonderful. The courtyard patio was the perfect place to hang out.

Spending time here is the same feeling when you go back home. The full service is impeccable, including the communication.

I thought it was going to have just the bunk beds, but it even has a kitchen and a couch to hang out at. Also the bathroom is private, which is not visible in the pictures or listed in the property amenities. It's quite spacious and in a decent location (20-30 minutes walk from the center), with easy parking. Amazing for its price

Matala Hostel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Matala. The property is around less than 1 km from Matala beach, 11 km from Phaistos and 14 km from Museum of Cretan Ethnology. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. I had a very nice stay, actually ended up extending. The location is perfect. Bus stop on the door. The hostel has some volunteers that are lovely. Matala es beautiful, so easy to fell in love with it.

Picked us up from the airport at 4AM and offered to drive us to our next destination for a cheaper price than the Lyft app. Highly recommend.
