Amazing vibes and super chill environment. The owner and all of the staff are incredible and super fun people to hang with. You go to this place as a stranger but even after a couple days you become like family. I wish I could have stayed longer. 30 min drive to Saroke but no problem because it was easy to rent scooters from salty dog. Best place ever!!

RedDoorz Hostel @ Capsule Inn Medan ligger i Medan, 1,8 km fra Medan Station og 4 km fra Istana Maimun. Værelserne har aircondition og et fælles badeværelse. Stayed one night at Red Capsule Hostel before my flight — it was a great choice for a short stay. The capsule was clean, comfortable, and the facilities seemed well-kept. I didn’t have time to explore much, but from what I saw, it’s a solid spot for a quick stopover in Medan. Would consider staying again for a longer visit.

Very Good location, close to airport, comfortable beds, private space in "cubicles". Queit, clean in the eooms, hot water in the shower. Staff kindly helped with booking taxi and other information.

I have to say, from the outside, it's not the best by look but honestly the warm energy you receive from the owner makes you turn a blind eye on everything around and also it's actually a meeting point for soo many backpackers either arriving in Melan or just leaving!

Medan Dazhong Backpacker's Hostel ligger i Medan. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. 2,9 km fra Istana Maimun, 3,2 km fra Masjid Raya Al-Mashun og 1,7 km fra Pajak Ikan Medan. The owner is so kind and helpful! He helped me with recieving a package in Indonesia what was so important for me. He gives some good tips for the city and for first steps in Indonesia. The place has nice common space so it's easy to socialise with other travellers and go out with them for food, sightseeing etc.

Pondok Wisata Istana XI ligger i Medan, 5 minutters gang fra Masjid Raya Al-Mashun og 3,3 km fra Medan Station. Overnatningsstedet er røgfrit og ligger 6 minutters gang fra Istana Maimun. First very disapointed because the booked superior room was very dirty and had a very bad smell inside. Bought an upgrade to VIP room, it was much better and my stay was fine. Bed was big and comfy, facilities to make tea/coffee in room. A/C worked fine. Alfa Mart near to hotel.
