This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. One of the best places we stayed in all Iceland. It’s right on the fjord with scenic views around and the accommodation itself is great! Very cosy and comfortable, with attention to detail, every room or house was special in its own way and provided everything you might need. We came for one night, but stayed for two as we didn’t want to leave. You can enjoy food from the restaurant on site or cook it in a shared kitchen. The staff and especially the owner very super nice, responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!

The farm is located in the most beautiful scenery and although one could say it's a bit isolated the location is just perfect for the purpose. The place is charming and genuine with tons of character and atmosphere. The best part however is definately the staff. The ladies of the house were extremely welcoming and lovely. We enjoyed our stay to the full and were so happy to have the chance for a ride with the amazing horses. Loved every bit of it.
