Staff exceedingly helpful. Restaurant (great soup!) and café (pistachio cornetto! ) very reasonably priced. 20-min walk to Assisi walls. Sounds of chirping birds, light wind, scent of the woods and campfires. I could have stayed a week! Easy to make friends with fellow-travelrs and share lively conversation over good local wine. I will remember Fontemaggio fondly!

Amazing little village, beautiful hostel, nice people, we also loved the way it was furnished, the views from the windows and the breakfast. Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend.

Valfabbrica is a small romantic village with a nice atmosphere, and staying in this hostel was a very good option for my pilgrimage on the Via di Francesco. Very close is a shop, a few bars, and restaurants. For one night on the camino, there couldn´t be a better option. The heating in the room was also sufficient.
