Amazing and helpful staff, very responsive and engaged. We had a room with beautiful, big window and stunning view of the river. The room was spacious, which is not common in Japan. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Kitchen was a bit small and can could get crowded, but it is not a big deal. We did not have much „in person” contact with the personel, they might seem a bit invisible and absent from the facility, but that is just an impression. Trust us- we had an emergency situation and they helped us to solve it despite the fact it was quite late and it was not their responsibility and fault at all.

Cycle Guest House SHIOKAZE har en god beliggenhed i Ikuchi Island-distriktet i Setoda. Det ligger 25 km fra Saikon-ji Temple, 28 km fra Saikokuji Temple og 29 km fra Senkoji-templet. Super easy to find and check in, so clean, awesome showers, even a bathtub if you need to soak and it is all SO CLEAN. It felt really safe, was loved everything about it

島宿Nest har en god beliggenhed i Ikuchi Island-distriktet i Onomichi. Det ligger 25 km fra Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, 28 km fra Saikon-ji Temple og 31 km fra Saikokuji Temple. Perfect spot to stop along the Shimanami Kaido. Super friendly staff, small hotel with comfy rooms right on the water. Could walk to a temple and pagoda in the morning. Communal bathrooms were very clean.

GuestHouse Hostel MangeTak ゲストハウス マングタック広島 har en god beliggenhed i centrum af Hiroshima og har værelser med aircondition samt et fælles opholdsområde, gratis wi-fi og en bar. I really recommend this hostel it is low key the CLEANEST and most comfortable I've ever been to. I literally don't want to leave but the trip must go on. The bed is spacious, shower and bathroom amazingly clean. Kitchen is small but equipped with everything you might need and all the utensils look like new. Location is good, there's tram stop nearby that gets you easily to the nearest jr train station if you need to move out of the city, there's also several bus lines that in a few stops bring you to Hiroshima Station. Extra points for the friendly staff. 10/10 experience.
