The location was ideal, being close to Farm Tomita, a key stop on our Hokkaido summer trip. A delightful and unexpected bonus was discovering the illuminations at Hinode Park nearby, which turned out to be the highlight of our stay

The location is amazing, it’s super close to the downtown area but on a smaller side street so you don’t hear traffic. As well the bed is way more comfortable than I was expecting, I was kinda expecting the thin hostel mat you get in Japan pretty often but this one is a mattress so I was extremely happy.

The stay is amazing! The hotel is located in a beautiful western-style house and the decoration is classy. Our room come with seaview over the lovely neighborhood. The hotel staffs are super friendly. We were able to leave our luggage before we check in because we arrived earlier than the check in time. The neighborhood is quiet but also very close to the main street. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Otaru.
