It had traditional vibes but everything looked new and facilities were modern and comfortable. I love the location which was just minutes from the station and literally at the beginning of the Kinosaki onsen area. It was very clean, the tatami flooring had a wonderful smell and for a budget guest house, the amenities were beyond my expectations. Free tea, free towel rental and disposal amenities outside the toilets. They had kimono rental too so that you could go onsen hopping in true Kinosaki style. I highly recommend this place.

The cottage was beautifully made and smelt of cedar wood. The living room was so relaxing and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Homemade breakfast was so special! The host was very welcoming.

The bunk beds compared to other hostels that I've stayed are much bigger and also the room only has two bunk beds and is spacious, which helps if you need to fix your luggage! :D The rooms are on the second floor which has one toilet for sharing. The second floor also has a public space. Two Shower rooms are downstairs along with another toilet that has a bidet. The location is also a 5mins walk from the nearest subway station! There's a 7/11 and Family Mart Konbini near the place! I also tried ordering a meal in the cafe - the hamburger set meal was Oishi! It was very filling also since it includes a rice and hamburger + sunny side egg on top of it while glazed with a special sauce. It also includes onion rings and fries! Overall, the place is very good and affordable, would recommend and go back again here :D

They were very accommodating and were very patient when I tried to speak some Japanese with them. This place is a good alternative to staying in Osaka, as osaka hotels can be expensive and booked up. If we return to Osaka area, we will 100% stay here again. Beds are comfortable, very spacious dorms, kitchen has everything you need to cook, and plenty of bathrooms and showers. Enjoyed our stay very much
