I went in February which seemed to be the off season. There weren’t many people staying here. But Takamatsu seemed to be a little bit off the beaten path for the typical foreign travel route. This city has so much potential and I hope to see more people come here and stay at this hostel in the future! This hostel company has a few different hostels in the more popular parts of Japan, so perhaps they see the potential of this area as well. There was tons of great things to do around, I ended up island hopping and found so many cool things! This property was great and i really recommend it.

The capsule dorm bed are way bigger than what you normally get, with tons of space for your stuff. There is a nice big kitchen / common area with free tea, coffee and soup. The staff is really nice. One of the best hostel on Shikoku.

BED N CHILL Shippoya 七宝屋 ligger i Mitoyo, 43 km fra Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, og har en have, en terrasse og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. Despite being 6 years old, the property seems like it’s just opened! The dormitory still smells of wood. Everything is immaculate. The bathroom is very pleasant and modern, right next to the sleeping areas. There is a fun bar and communal area to hang out. There are only 6 beds in the dormitory. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely. The surrounding area is beautiful. Overall one of the best hostels I stayed in Japan.

The hostel was comfortable and well designed. The view toward the water was beautiful in the morning. Everything was organized and clean.

This was our favorite stay in Japan for so many reasons- The owner, Shin is so generous and friendly and made our stay wonderful! He picked us up from the train station, sat and talked with us, educating us on all the interesting g places to see in Takamatsu. His home has been in his family for over 2oo years and has been removed so tastefully with fine carpentry. We loved the cedar lined bath! I cannot recommend a place to stay more highly! Shin is a wonderful interesting host! Thank you so much!!
