It was perfect. The couple who run it are so sweet, so nice and helpful. They gave me a ton of recommendations, and even helped me navigate getting around the area. The hospitality was next level. The beds were super comfy, and the rooms were really cute. They had an amazing common room, which made it super easy to socialize with other guests, and to top it all off breakfast was delicious. They opened the bar one night I was here and that was so much fun. Great beer, great food, and met some really cool people. 10/10 would recommend.

Coincidentally joined a bicycle trip he arranged with another guest, which happened to be a surprise and highlight of the stay in Takamatsu.

The matress was/is very comfortable, I've been to more luxurious capsule hotels with much higher standard, but when it comes to sleeping, almost impossible because of the thin matressess. This is not the case here, and that's what matters (that you can sleep), right !? For just 2000 yen you can have a dinner, also prepared by the chef. Just a stone throw to Ritsurin garden.

Miyama-tei is a quiet place surrounded by rice and vegetable fields. I enjoyed a restful stay in a comfortable bunk room. The facilities were very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. There are a few small cafes within walking distance. Check-in was self service and the instructions sent ahead of time were easy to follow.
