Extremely clean and cozy, with views of Mt Fuji right from the common space windows. The location is great -- you are right on the lake, making it very easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The host is also the nicest and picked me up from the bus station (even after my arrival time was delayed!). I only stayed 1 night but would love to come back

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Kagelow is one of the most stunning hostels I have stayed at. It is immaculately clean and the facilities are lush! There is an onsite restaurant and bar and the hostels outfit is beautiful. I stayed in both the hostel dorm rooms and also the private hostel rooms, both were exceptional! Highly recommend for solo and group travellers if you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere!

Hostel & Salon Saruya ligger 5 minutters gang fra Shimoyoshida Station og tilbyder renoverede 80 år gamle japanske ferieboliger med gratis WiFi. The property is stunning. We stayed in one of the private Kiku rooms and it was extremely spacious for the price! Everything was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Staff is very friendly! Wake up early to get a fantastic view of Fuji-san before the crowd.

The house is very calm and within walking distance of the lake and the bridge. They offer free bike rental (though there are only a few bikes available), which is great for exploring the area. The common room is very cozy and makes it easy to meet other travelers, and the showers are very nice, with an “onsen-style” feel.

It’s a beautiful house in the traditional Japanese style. The location is 2mins walking distance from the Shin Fuji station, very convenient. The environment is very clean and cozy. The best part is the large bath, especially after hiking in the Mt. Fuji. The host is very nice and glad to help with visitors. I will give the hostel 10+++ stars if I could!!! I will definitely choose this hostel again when visit Shin Fuji and I highly recommend it!!

Very clean, feeling fresh, have bike to access with commute in the area, staff very friendly, dome bed section blocked out noice quite well, roof top view to Mt Fuji was amazing, 10 min walk to the train station, nice and quiet.

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel ligger i Fujiyoshida, 7,8 km fra Kawaguchi-søen og 25 km fra Fuji. Dette vandrehjem har 1 stjerne samt værelser med aircondition, gratis wi-fi og et fælles badeværelse. Excellent, it was a wonderful experience to stay there, we like the Japanese style room with tatami room, and have a sight of mount fuji from our window view. And the location is near by Shimoyoshida Street just 3min walk with not crowded and have a clearly mount fuji view in the early morning. Kindly and polite host to guide us. We are not regret to stay here.

K's House Fuji View - Travelers Hostel ligger i Fujikawaguchiko, 2,4 km fra Fuji-Q Highland, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt privat parkering. we like the place because the view of mt.fuji is so beautiful like their pictures you can even see mt.fuji on the balcony.the staff are very accomodating,they try to converse with their guests and greets everyone..the lobby,kitchen is so clean we loved staying in the lobby.in the morning you can drink a cup of coffee(free for everyone) with a perfect view of mt.fuji.it's like a air bnb,hotel,dormitory,ryokan feels combined.we were happy that we had a private toilet on our room though the shared bathroom is not bad at all because it's clean.the price of the rooms are very affordable compared to a lot of pricey hotels around.parking fee is affordable.highly recommend this place and i would love to be back and stay there again on our next visit.
