HOSTEL MICHIKUSA-YA ligger i Fujikawaguchiko, mindre end 1 km fra Kawaguchi-søen, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og gratis privat parkering. The host, Michikusa, was very good with communication and offered to collect me from Kawaguchiko train station as well as drop me off the day I departed. This was a great help and very much appreciated! On check in Michikusa recommended a few points of interest to visit during my stay according to the weather. I managed to tick most of them off which made for a great day exploring the beautiful surrounding nature. The hostel is well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a pleasure staying there and I would 100% return on my next visit! Thank you!

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. View, cleanliness, and staff was super nice. Kitchen and food were delicious.

Hostel & Salon Saruya ligger 5 minutters gang fra Shimoyoshida Station og tilbyder renoverede 80 år gamle japanske ferieboliger med gratis WiFi. Everything was perfect. They waited for us, because we were about 30min late for the check-in, receptionist was very very friendly and she explained everything. The location is to one of the main streets, not too far away from supermarket and bus/train station Mt.Fuji. Room and facilities were were clean and spatious, we really loved the design od everything. The mini shop next to reception was also nice. Would recommend 10/10.

Kinoya Hostel ligger i Fuji, 41 km fra Shuzenji-templet, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt privat parkering. Vandrehjemmet ligger ca. Staff was very kind and helpful. We arrived late and he prepared the bath for us. We didn't need to go to Ryokan to enjoy a Japanese inn and onsen. The place was clean and beautiful Japanese style house with tatami. The hostel was right next to the train station, that is a huge bonus for us when we overslept and almost kissed the train. We definitely will come again in the future.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, facilities were clean and comfortable, the free bikes were an absolute plus! Free snacks & coffee to enjoy as well, couldn’t recommend more!!

Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA ligger i Fujiyoshida, 2 km fra Fuji-Q Highland, og har et fælles opholdsområde, en terrasse og gratis privat parkering. The owner is an absolute sweetheart. She runs the hostel by herself and does all the cleaning and hostel preparations for your arrival. She is fluent in English as well which is a big plus to foreign travelers. I contacted her that I was going to be checking in slightly late and she said it was alright. The first night I stayed in a bunk and the 2nd night was a private room. I slept very well both nights and the hostel has a very home-y feeling to it. The location is also excellent being <10minute walk from Gekkouji station. Owner recommended me to visit Arakurayama park to get a view of Mt fuji and it was worth it. I went at sunrise with other travelers. It is about 15 minute walk to the location.

The host is incredibly thoughtful and owns a wonderful house, well located in the center of Fujiyoshida. We had a very warm welcome and great advice from our host, who also always kept the surroundings remarkably clean and tended to any of our needs. Our Japanese-style room was the cherry on the top, traditional and functional, comfortable and cozy, cleaner than most hotels.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. Clean, elegant, comfortable! Nice and cozy common area. The vegan bolognese was a nice surprise!
