Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. It was an excellent place to stay. We really liked the atmosphere of the hostel, it is very nice, and calm. Unfortunately we couldn't try the cafeteria but anything we we used was perfect and we had no trouble at all. We got more than I actually expected, but really everything just looks like the pictures.

The staff was friendly, and everything was in good order. There is a microwave and hot water, which was convenient. The location is also good. However, it was cold inside—it actually felt even colder than outside. There is an air conditioner, but I don’t like the fan-type heater; it just doesn’t work well for me. Still, I recommend the place overall
