Although the property is so conveniently close to the train station, my friend and I still managed to almost miss our train to Sapporo… Ryo saved the day and drove us to the train station, carried both of our massive luggage bags up to the ticket booth, and helped us buy tickets just in time!

Jenny, the homeowner, made our trip even more special. From the moment we arrived until the very last minute, she was there to help with anything we needed. She provided rides to and from the gondola, which was a huge bonus. Her deep knowledge of the village and surroundings made our experience even better, as she gave great recommendations for restaurants,bars and onsens . The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located place with a host who truly cares about her guests, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant was amazing. we ate breakfast everyday and dinner a few times during our stay, and the food was always amazing. It was a little quiet, but the hosts were incredibly welcoming, and anan-san even gave us some tips on where to get find powder stashes!

Tho this is far from the popular ski resorts.

You can play billiards at the hostel, and the area is popular for skiing. Steve and Co. at the Owashi were wonderful hosts for my stay in Niseko. Very attentive crew willing to help you resolve a wide array of problems you may experience. I cant fault anything from the Owashi team, except maybe the live musician. Voice could do with some work
