They speak a Little english but communication was not a problem at all. They were very adaptative, I could make a last minute booking for an additional night. The facilities were super clean, the room was spacious (for Japanese standards) neat and very cozy and there was a practical corner to dry your wet clothes. Coffee and tea were at the customers disposal (which is nice to start the morning), a washing machine was also at our disposal. The bus stop is a little far away but there’s a free shuttle service that you just have to book a little bit in advance. Everything in this place was thoroughly thought for the customers comfort.

The common area was equipped with TV, switch 2 console, and a working area with computers. The kitchen was nice, had everything you need for prepping a meal including condiments. Fridge was huge and more than enough to store everyone’s foods. The bed, bathrooms and toilets were all spotless. The hosts also treated me like their friends and were very welcoming.

Situated in Onna, within 600 metres of Zanee Beach and less than 1 km of Maeda Cape, Akachichi Guesthouse features accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. A very clean, comfortable, quiet accommodation with a local vibe. Hosts were lovely people. They served a beautiful Japanese style breakfast (with a Okinawan twist!) each morning, including a great cup of coffee. Wide range of restaurants and a few grocery stores within walking distance. Several secluded beaches that are fantastic for snorkeling, swimming and tide pooling are within walking distance. Walk to the bus route to Naha/ Kadena area and north island. Taxi coverage in the area. A perfect place for our 5 night stay.
