Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL ligger i Takagi, 11 km fra Shiogama-templet. Her er en bar og enheder med aircondition. Compared to some places I've rated a 10, this could be a 12! Amazing value. It's a short walk from the two main stations (around 10 mins) and about a 20 min walk to the famous bridge. The place was modern (seemed recently opened) and was very clean throughout. I had a single room that was really spacious. The bed was comfy and it was a really quiet area. Best night's sleep in over a week! The kitchen/ lounge area was also spacious and clean. The owner/ staff were also really friendly and stopped in to have a chat. I wish I could have stayed longer - the cafe/ bar downstairs seemed like a cool place. Highly recommend!

Siodomi Marinki share wood lodge, pets allowed ligger i Ōkuki, 15 km fra Konakano Station, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. 12/10 absolutely incredible stay!! Very VERY kind and helpful hosts that offered me pickup/dropoff rides, a ride to the supermarket, and even a goodie bag on my way out. This made for the perfect penultimate day to my MCT thru-hike, could not have wished for anything better. Fully equipped kitchen, nice shower, bathtub, common room with TV and netflix, sheesh. Thank you!!!!

It was the best capsule hostel I stayed at until now. Very spacious and comfortable bed, there is a small area where you can leave your bag next to the mattress, but you also have a little bit of space on the other side too. The best thing was the small fan in the bedroom. Loved it. Also, the door is an actual door you can lock and not only a curtain.

Yamagata Guesthouse山形ゲストハウス ligger i Yamagata i Murayama, 5 minutters gang fra Murayama Station. Overnatningsstedet har et fælles køkken samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Staff was extremely welcoming and nice, I am really happy I got to spend some time with them. The location is great- it's close to the station and the whole accomodation is cozy. Indeed the bathroom is on a different floor, but I didn't have problems with hot water or anything so that's more important for me. It can get a bit cold on the halls of the building, but inside the common spaces and rooms it was warm enough. Towels and laundry are available to rent and you can use the big kitchen they have. The bagel breakfast they offered was actually with good bread.

Guesthouse & Kitchen Hace ligger i Iwaki, 11 km fra Aquamarine Fukushima. Dette overnatningssted med 2 stjerner har et fælles opholdsområde, en restaurant og en bar. Breakfast was individually organised and wrapped that made the whole experience a lot more unique. The whole building was an ex taxi noffice in traditional style. Had a cute little table for eating food. Don't expect spacious facilities, but if you are after traditional Japanese experience with home atmosphere, this Guesthouse is for you.

Guesthouse & Lounge FARO iwaki ligger i Iwaki, 14 km fra Aquamarine Fukushima. Her er concierge-tjeneste, et fælles opholdsområde, en restaurant samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Excellent location with an easy walk from the station.

El Amarillo SELF CHECK IN HOSTEL har udsigt til byen og ligger i Fukushima, 48 km fra Koriyama Station. Dette vandrehjem har 2 stjerner. Her er et fælles opholdsområde, aircondition og gratis wi-fi. The facilities very very clean, but the best part was hands down the beds. Extremely comfortable and even had heaters for the cold winter.

Kakunodate Guest House Choux ligger i Senboku, 38 km fra Nyuto Onsen og 8 minutters gang fra Kakunodate Station. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Best pillow among the hostels I've stay at so far! But more importantly the owners are very kind and generous and their lovely daughter likes to be social :) Shame not to spend more time in the area. Great to have a bar to hang your clothes/coat up!
