Host is very friendly and likeable. The place is really cozy. They have a separate space for which you can work or spend time alone away from the hostel itself where guests stay and sleep. It has full amenities, from drinkable tap water, to appliances like ref and you can even cook if you want! The space which you will sleep is very large as well. You can also ask to borrow bike from the host for free (traditional bike and not the e-bike used for cycling).

Also it's really close from Shin-Fuji station, as well as a few shops and places to eat. The owner/person working at reception is a really cool guy who knows English that recommended some great places to take photos of Mount Fuji (ありがとうございます). Overall great price-value accommodation.

So clean and all facilities are available. The room was blessedly warm. Every rule written in English and explained well by the owner. The rock and roll design of the diner was an added bonus for me. The breakfast was so yummy. Simple but filling. I loved everything about it. Had a great night sleep.

Det moderne Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel åbnede i juni 2015 og ligger blot 7 minutters gang fra JR Nagoya Station. Gæsterne kan nyde drikkevarer i vandrehjemmets bar eller cafe. I have read the reviews before booking this property and everyone said the owner was super welcome and friendly. And it was true! I felt at home during my stay at Glocal. Even though I didn't spend much time at the property, I got everything I needed here. The facilities and the amenities are top notch. Will definitely stay at Glocal again when I visit Nagoya next time. Thank you, Icchan and team!

This hostel is now one of my favorites that I’ve tried in Japan. The facilities are very clean, beautiful, and modern. The decoration is carefully chosen, and the bed is extremely comfortable; even the bath towels smell wonderfully fresh. It’s also extremely rare to find showers so well equipped, with both quality hygiene products and a real walk-in shower. It was my first time seeing this in Japan, and it made my stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, the hostel manager is very welcoming and accommodating, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this hostel ,you can really feel the effort and attention put into making every stay as comfortable as possible. If I have time at the end of my trip, I’ll definitely come back! I love this place! So many great places to explore nearby and the owners are the sweetest. They can give you lots of advice on what do and see. The onsen was very nice as well. It was nice to find an affordable, tradition ryokan in an amazing location.
