The property has a great location that’s central to town but in a quiet street. The room and bed were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is clean as well. Rinas was so helpful while I was in a stressful situation with my shuttle never arriving. He found another ride for me last minute and saved the day. 10/10 would recommend!

The host was super helpful, as we told him that the AC in our room is not working properly. He immediately fixed the problem by calling the repair guys on a weekend evening. He also provided tons of useful hints and info about Sri Lanka. With one work he is a really cool and knowledgeable guy who runs his business impeccably. The breakfast was also marvelous (portion and taste). The only negative thing to mention is the smell in the bathroom (with closed door only the bathroom) which occurred time to time. (Might be because of the swampy land behind the building.)

I stayed for a total of 12 days. I felt at home, the facilities are very good, and the location is perfect. A hostel with a lot of social life. All the staff are very friendly and help you with everything, especially Zaza, who is always there if you need anything. Thank you so much, see you soon. 🤍

Aura surf camp & Hostel ligger i Arugam Bay, 7,2 km fra Elephant Rock og 18 km fra Magul Maha Viharaya. It had only just opened its doors and we were met with the warmest welcome from the manager who couldn’t do enough for us. Always went out of his way to accommodate us - sharing extra phone data with us, allowing late check - out due to work commitments, updating us to the air-con room because the fan room was under renovations but with no extra charge. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so so much

Vandrehjemmet har gratis wi-fi og ligger... Great place, I stayed for 7 days and had an amazing time. The host Sajid is wonderful, kind and super helpful. Surf instructor David is the best, very patient and friendly teaching style. 10/10 will recommend taking surf lessons. Surf in the morning and do whatever you want rest of the day, the hosts Sajid & David will help you with whatever you want. Special shout out to Nafan for taking such good care of the hostel.

I had the loveliest stay at Early Birds! It’s so close to the beach and the dorm was really nice- all the beds have curtains and the mattress is super comfy. The hosts are really friendly & welcoming and taught everyone some local games! Also, the breakfast was some of the BEST food I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka!!

I continue to extend because I don’t want to leave anytime soon. Thank you to the entire team at lost for making this place feel so welcoming! Cannot recommend enough!!!
