But the house itself is tucked away in a nice quiet street, with a cafe just accross the road. The place itself is gorgeous, and beautifully taken care of by Tomoko who comes around everyday! Mk is a fantastic host and I could not recommend enough staying at one of his accomodations. Ask him for advice if you need to know anything, he's super helpful. Thanks again 🤗

We stayed at 2 different Aayu locations while in Penang and this one was our favorite! It's a bit more quiet near Beach Street, which we enjoyed. The location was really good, near to the jetties and food markets. Wi-Fi was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room had plenty of space. There were plenty of bathrooms around, filtered water in the kitchen, and a nice area to hang out in. They also send you some great recommendations for food and sights to see upon arrival.

There was constant support available via whatsapp and even going as far as to offer to assist in arranging our departure taxi. We were greeted with a hand written note and there was tea, coffee, Milo and bakery treats available in the kitchen for guests which was a lovely touch. The air-conditioning and WiFi were great and I really appreciated the water filter with hot and cold options. Location is excellent, right in the heart of busy George Town, yet it was quiet and serene inside.
