The host family was really an example of panamanian hospitality, they looked after us for trips, gave us tips, and even a small tour around the neighborhood. Very sweet people. Auxi, the host, is an English teacher, so you will have no problems with communication. We loved the stay as it gave us an idea of rural panamanian life and access to more hidden spots to visit (including the 'Pozo azul', which you need to go to). Recommend!

We had a great stay, the personnel is very friendly, they organize all kind of walks and events, the breakfast and the smoothies are delicious. We enjoyed the garden and the chill lounge atmosphere. But I didn't feel lonely because Luz, the owner, is an amazing woman and despite not speaking the same language we kept eachother company and I had a really good time with her at the hostel! She also helped me whenever I needed anything, she gave me tips and we also had dinner together (awesome cook!) The location is quite far from the main resorts, and it's great for a peaceful stay in Playa Farallòn! There is a small market near the hostel and that's all you need! Also the beach is across the road, like 50 meters from the hostel! What else?
