Partenope Hostel and Suites ligger i Angra do Heroísmo, 7 minutters gang fra Zona Balnear da Prainha Strand. Her er concierge-tjeneste, gratis cykler, et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis wi-fi... Partenope is in the center of Angra, near the botanical garden. The parking space is very close and it's cheap. Taxi od near as the bus stop. Restaurants and cafes are near as well as shops. It's a quiet establishment and honestly I can't in the evening and went around in the morning, My bunk bed was spacious and pleasant. Breakfast is basic; bread, cheese and ham, yogurt, juice, coffee, honey, Nutella, some sweets and fruits as well. Enough to start the day. The kitchen is spacious and has everything for a quick snack. It was pleasant to chat with the owner of the establishment as well. If you're looking for a place to end the day and start fresh, this is the place.

Casa Dos Reis - Boutique Hostel ligger ved stranden i Angra do Heroísmo, 5 minutters gang fra Zona Balnear da Prainha Strand, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse. This was, by far, the best hostel I've ever been to (and I've backpacked trough Australia and South East Asia for 10 months)! It is spacious, comfy, clean and has everything you need! The kitchen is fully equipped and even offers some snacks, tea and coffee. There is a free parking space just 3 minutes from the hostel and it´s just a 5 minute walk to the city center. I was travelling alone (as a woman) and originally booked the 4-bedroom dorm, in which there were two men staying at that time. The owner offered me to stay in another dorm (which was empty), for no surcharge! He could have just let me stay in my original room, meaning he wouldn't have had to clean the other dorm, which I thought was very kind of him. He was also very helpful in getting everything organised and gave me some tips about the island.

This place feels like home. The manager is welcoming and attentive, and the solo travelers I met were lovely. The facilities are very clean and well-maintained, and the views from the terrace over Mount Brasil are wonderful.

We never met before such attentive staff to their customers at each aspect like guidance about island sights, transfer booking, food, etc. The room was crystal clean and well equipped. Definitely these days will be kept in our memory for the whole life!

The hostel is great, it has cozy kitchen, comfy beds and location is very good. The best thing is the staff, which allowed us to check out late, also provided us with lots of valuable information about the island.
