Spend an unforgettable time away with family or friends at our Forest Chalet in an exclusive location that spans across 1000m2. Playing catch in the spacious yard, practicing yoga under the apple tree, barbecuing on the terrace with friends – all of these things and more are part of the experience that we like to provide for both young and old alike at our luxury vacation home. Set in a secluded location, our Forest Chalet is rich in history and effortlessly combines both Austrian comfort with a modern interior and facilities. The open-plan kitchen opens up into the beautiful dining and living area. Light-filled rooms, a large dining table, and the direct access to the terrace with its canopied lounge and barbecue area provide the perfect starting point for quality time together. After dinner outside, the ideal place to continue long conversations and finish the glass of wine is next to the open fire place in the living room. The perfect end to a perfect evening is a relaxing bath in our whirlpool tub. The 1000m2 yard is enclosed with a hedgerow, providing a safe haven for your little ones’ outdoor adventures.
Nina and Andy - hosting guests is our passion Nina holds an MBA in business and science, while her husband Andy is a physiotherapist. Their love for interior design, as well as their talent for making homes not only beautiful but also comfortable and cosy places to stay in set their 6 luxury vacation homes in Salzburg and the Austrian countryside apart. The homes boast stylish interiors and the attention to detail is apparent in every room. Nina and Andy have two daughters themselves, and as such know exactly what it is that a family vacation home needs. Tree houses in the backyard, highchairs in the dining room, and the option of childcare for to enjoy some alone time will leave families wanting for nothing at the Holidaysun vacation homes. A homemade bundt cake and chilled prosecco are part of the welcome that Nina and Andy personally give upon your arrival. It’s the special moments that make up the experience that Nina and Andy like to provide for their guests. It truly is a labor of love, filled with a passion for details that make a house a home, and a vacation an unforgettable experience.
The Forest Chalet is set in a beautiful private location amidst lush green fields and is only a stone’s throw away from popular attractions and instagrammable destinations like the Bluntau valley and the Golling Waterfall. The town center, which is only a 5-minute walk away, offers popular dinner spots, charming bars, supermarkets and independent shops. The local Aqua Salza wellness spa & pools, as well as a playground are also within walking distance. Private parking spaces are right outside the vacation home, and available for guests of our Forest Chalet. The Forest Chalet is also the perfect spot for your furry friends. With several lanes and paths to explore right from your doorstep, you’ll be spoilt for choice on your daily walks. Both Golling and Salzburg are the ideal places for your vacation. No matter which season you want to come in, the areas surrounding these towns have numerous sights worth visiting throughout the year, and are no more than 20-40 minutes away: from the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, the famous lake-side town of Hallstatt, the idyllic Sound of Music tour, to world renowned ski resorts.
