Relax in peaceful surroundings amongst the karris & the gum trees. Blue wrens & kangaroos are plentiful most of the year - the perfect place to relax & unwind. Close by to vineyards, walks & other tourist attractions. Abbivale Farm Cottage offers a perfect getaway from city life. After exploring what Denmark has to offer, what could be better than simply relaxing with a glass of wine at dusk appreciating views across the lake. In winter curl up with a good book in front of the pot belly stove. No matter what time of year you visit you will feel revitalised!
I have lived in Denmark for 12 years & love it. Walking through the forest with karri trees towering overhead or a brisk walk along Mazzoletti beach at William Bay - good for the soul! Visiting some of the nearby vineyards any time of year & enjoying hearty food with a crisp white wine in summer or a warming red in winter. It's an idyllic place to live!
We are situated on the Scotsdale Tourist Route along which you can find many top quality vineyards, the Cheese Factory, Alpaca & Animal Farm to name a few. Several of these are within a 5-10 minute drive from us. Further afield there are plenty of beaches & forest walks to explore with the Tree Top Walk being a major WA attraction approximately 45 minute drive from here. Albany in the other direction has much to offer also- the rugged coastline, whaling station & thge Anzac Museum - a must see. So much to do & see here. Book your trip soon!
